8oz | Spicy Sausage |
3/4 cup | diced onion |
1 1/4 tsp | minced garlic |
1/2 can | chicken broth |
1 quart | water |
2 med | potatoes, quartered & thinly sliced |
2 cup | kale, diced |
1/3 cup | heavy whipping cream |
Brown sausage & onion till cooked and tender, drain.
Combine with water, broth, garlic, & potatoes in a soup pot.
Cook till potatoes are tender, about 15-20 min.
Add cream & kale, simmer for 4min.
Add salt to taste.
This is not a thick soup but packed with flavor.
I usually double this recipe. I also add more kale than called for jus because I like it. LoL
