    1  egg
    1/2 cup  milk
    1/4 cup  butter, melted
    1 1/2 cups  flour
    1/2 cup  sugar
    2 tsp  baking powder
    dash  salt, optional
    3/4 cup  chopped, peanuts
    12 tsp  jam, strawberry,apricot, or raspberry
1. Beat egg, Stir in milk and melted butter.
2. Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder & salt.
3. Mix together egg mixture, flour mixture and 1/2 cup of the nuts.
4. Pour Filling into well-greased muffin tins. 1/3 of the way to the top.
5. Drop 1 tsp of jelly in center of each muffin. Spoon batter over top to reach 2/3 full.
6. Sprinkle with remaining nuts.
7. Bake at 400 for about 20 minutes.
