Basic Vinegar Sauce
Nb persons: 0
|2 C||cider vinegar|
|1/2 C||hot sauce, (Franks)|
|2 T||black pepper|
|1 T||crushed red pepper flakes|
|6-8 drops||Worcestershire sauce|
|1 tsp||liquid smoke, (hickory) - optional|
Combine vinegar, ketchup, and hot sauce in pot over medium heat.
Pour in remaining ingredients and stir until dissolved. Do not boil.
This sauce can be a bit spicy. Reduce hot sauce to 1/4 C and omit pepper flakes if serving to people that don?t like a lot of heat.
