Belgian Waffles

2 C. | all-purpose flour |
3/4 C. | sugar |
3-1/2 t. | baking powder |
2 large | eggs, separated |
1-1/2 C. | milk |
1 C. | melted butter |
1 t. | vanilla |
Mix the dry ingredients thoroughly. Add milk, melted butter, vanilla, and egg yolks. Mix thoroughly. In mixing bowl, whip egg whites until peaking. Then, fold the egg whites into the mixed ingredients. Using 1/2 C., pour into waffle iron. Should make around 5 full-sized Belgian waffles. | |
