Sure can Sue Set oven for 400 degree and then throw 3 table spoons of oil in a cast iron pan before you start mixing all your dry ingredients. | |
1-1/2 cups | cornmeal |
1 cup | flour |
2 teaspoons | baking powder |
1- teaspoon | Salt |
STIR ALL DRY INGREDIANTS Wet Ingredients 2 Eggs- beat with whisk for 30 sec. so they are frothy | |
1/3 cup | melted butter |
1 tablespoon | oil, (adds moistness) |
1- 2 tablespoons( depending on you liking of sweetness maple syrup or honey)
Mix all wet ingredients for 30 sec
Combine both wet and dry mix well for 30 seconds
But in heated cast iron pan and bake at 425 degrees for 20-30 mind or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean in the middle
