Deviled Crab Eggs (Kari's Recipe)

Desired number of eggs, boiled thoroughly. This is for 12 eggs. | |
1/4 c | Miracle Whip |
2 TBSP | mustard |
2 TBSP | dill pickle juice |
Sprinkle | paprika |
1/4 cup | Green and red bell pepper finely chopped |
Lemon peel zest | |
2 or 4 oz | can of crab meat |
Caviar, (see pic) |
Lettuce sliced thinly for serving
1. Peel eggs and cut in half
2. Place yolks in small mixing bowl with miracle whip, mustard, and pickle juice and mix well.
3. Cover serving plate in lettuce. Place egg whites on plate and fill with yolk mixture.
4. Mix crab and bell peppers. Place a small scoop of the crab/pepper mixture on each egg and add lemon zest on each egg. Sprinkle each egg with paprika.
5. Using a plastic spoon, lightly scoop a dollop of caviar onto each egg.
6. Serve cooled with lemon wedges.
