9" deep dish pie shell | |
4-6 medium | tomatoes, unpeeled |
Flour for dusting tomatoes 6-8 basil leaves cut in small strips (or dried basil) | |
1 1/2 c. | Mayonnaise, (Real Hellmans) |
1 1/2 c. | Shredded sharp cheddar, (can used other shredded cheese) |
Bake pie crust for 5 mins. Per directions and set aside to cool. Layer sliced tomatoes, dust lightly with flour, sprinkle with basil. Construe layering until crust is overstuffed. Mix mayo and cheese together, spoon over layered tomatoes. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Let cool for 10 mins. Before slicing.
