Basic Microwaved Eggs

Method
For each egg, lightly grease a coffee mug, small dessert bowl or ramekin with cooking spray. Sprinkle a few grains of salt into the bottom of the dish. Crack one egg into each bowl. Pierce egg yolk with toothpick or fork. Cover with plastic wrap with one corner pulled back for venting.
For soft-cooked eggs, microwave on HIGH (100%) for 30 seconds. Let stand for 10 seconds without removing plastic wrap.
For hard-cooked eggs, microwave on HIGH (100%) for 40 seconds. Let stand for 30 seconds without removing plastic wrap.
Tip
Always use microwave-safe cookware in your microwave oven. Glass, ceramic and plastic cookware are all microwave-safe.
