COCKTAIL - BRANDY - The Sparkling Rose

2 | strawberries, (hulled and sliced) |
1 | orange slice |
1 | lemon slice |
2 ounces | brandy |
1/2 ounce | basil simple syrup |
2 ounces | sparkling rose |
BASIL SIMPLE SYRUP | |
1 cup | water |
1 cup | sugar |
4 | basil leaves |

In a rocks glass, add the strawberries, a slice of orange, a slice of lemon. Muddle the fruit. Add some ice, brandy and simple syrup. Pour chilled sparkling rose over the top, stir to combine.
For the Basil Simple Syrup: Bring sugar and water to a simmer over medium heat. Remove from heat, add basil leaves and steep until cool. Strain and set aside to cool.
