    2 tsp.  fresh ginger
    3 small cloves  garlic
    1 lb  ground beef
    2 large  onion thinly sliced
    1 tbsp  garam masala
    1 tbsp  curry powder
    1 tsp  salt
      Oil

1. Crush ginger and garlic
2. Combine all ingredients in a large skillet or pan and simmer for 30 min. Stirring frequently. Add a bit of oil if meat is too lean.
3. When meat is well browned, drain off any excess fat, set aside until ready to fill pastry.
