Red lentil soup

    2 tbsp  vege oil
    1 cup  chopped onions
3 garlic cloves minced
    1 tsp  ground coriander
    1 tsp  ground cumin
    1/4 tsp  turmeric
      Cayenne to taste
    300g  red lentils
    9 cups  chicken stock
5 carrots finey chopped
    1  red pepper finely chopped
    1 handful  fresh cilantro
    1/4 cup  fresh green onion

1. In a saucepan heat oil on med-high. Sauté onion. Add garlic. Add spices. Add veggies, lentils and broth. Boil gently for 20 min.
2. Stir in fresh stuff
3. Add cubed ham if you want or top with sour cream or feta
