      Shredded bread
    1C  celery cut fine and sautéed
    1C  onion cut fine and sautéed
    1/4 pound  butter
2 sour apples cut fine
      Salt
      pepper
      sage

Cook the giblets in water and use that liquid to moisten the bread

Rub turkey inside and out with butter and then salt and pepper generously

Stuff the bird and cook

If there is remaining stuffing, bake in a covered dish after dabbing with butter
