Spinach, Dill & Gruyere casserole

In a large bowl, whisk 10 eggs, 3 cups whole milk, 1 tsp. salt and 1/2 tsp. pepper.
Stir in 16 cups (1 lb.) cubed baguette, one(10oz) package frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed dry, 2 cups grated Gruyere , 1/2 cup chopped fresh dill and 2 minced shallots. Transfer to a buttered 3 qt. baking dish; top with 1 cup grated Gruyere . Cover ; refrigerate overnite. Bake at 350 degrees until just set, about 1 hour. Serves 8-10
