Take your tequila with tons of diabetes-busting carotenoids, courtesy of carrots. Soak a bag of Numi Carrot Curry savory tea in tequila to infuse it; then seal the container with an airtight lid and store in a dark area. Let it sit for 2-3 days before removing the tea bag, and you're ready to rock your hair-of-the-dog brunch. 1 part fresh carrot juice 1 part Bloody Mary mix | |
2 oz | Numi Carrot Curry savory tea-infused tequila, (see instructions above) |
Worcestershire sauce, to taste | |
Tabasco sauce, to taste | |
Juice of ½ | lime |
Fresh veggies for garnish | |
Black pepper, to taste |
1. ADD tequila to a tall glass with ice, then fill the rest of the glass with half bloody mary mix and half carrot juice.
2. SPLASH in some Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco sauce and the juice of half a lime. Mix with a spoon and sprinkle a little black pepper on the top.
3. GARNISH with celery and fresh veggies. Serves 1.
