    1 can  asparagus, drain juice and save
    1 small can  LeSueuer English peas
      Grated sharp cheese
    4 1/2 T  oleo
    4 1/2 T  flour
    1 t  salt
    1 1/2 C  asparagus juice & milk to equal

On medium heat melt oleo. Stir in slowly flour and salt. When flour is smooth add milk stirring often until sauce is thick. Layer in casserole dish asparagus, peas, sauce and a layer of cheese. Bake @ 350 until hot and bubbly.

This recipe can be doubled with no problem.
