English Pea & Asparagus Casserole

1 can | asparagus, drain juice and save |
1 small can | LeSueuer English peas |
Grated sharp cheese | |
4 1/2 T | oleo |
4 1/2 T | flour |
1 t | salt |
1 1/2 C | asparagus juice & milk to equal |
On medium heat melt oleo. Stir in slowly flour and salt. When flour is smooth add milk stirring often until sauce is thick. Layer in casserole dish asparagus, peas, sauce and a layer of cheese. Bake @ 350 until hot and bubbly.
This recipe can be doubled with no problem.
