COOKIES - Pecan Tassies

Pecan Tassies Ingredients: | |
3-oz. pkg | Cream cheese, softened |
1/2 C. | Butter, softened |
1 C. | Flour |
1 | Egg |
3/4 C. | Brown sugar |
1 T. | Butter, softened |
1 t. | Vanilla |
Dash | Salt |
2/3 C. | Pecans, coarsely broken |
Directions:
1.Blend together softened cream cheese and butter. Stir in flour. Chill 1 hour.
2.Shape to two dozen 1-inch balls; place in ungreased 1-3/4 inch mini muffin pans. Press dough against bottom and sides with tart tapper.
3.Beat together egg, brown sugar, 1 T. butter, vanilla and salt just until smooth.
4.Divide 1/3 c. pecans among “tarts”; add egg mixture. Top with rest of pecans.
5.Bake at 325 degrees for 25 min. or until filling is set. Cool; remove from pans.
