Zip close bags for storage Mix together and store in a zip close bag, either in the pantry or refrigerator until use. This is enough mix for one batch. Go ahead and mix several bags and store for future use. | |
2 tsp. | baking powder |
3/4 c. | AP flour |
3/4 c. | yellow cornmeal |
1/4 c. | powdered milk |
1/2 tsp. | salt |
1/4 c. | sugar |
When you are ready to make cornbread, simply add egg, water and butter to a bag of mix and squeeze to mix. Pour batter into a greased cast iron skillet or cupcake tin and bake. | |
