Chicken Masala

1 cup | whole milk yogurt |
1/4 cup | coarsely chopped cilantro |
3 tbsp | olive oil |
1 tbsp | garam masala |
2 tsp | salt |
1 large clove | garlic-minced |
12 bone/skinless chicken thighs | |
2 small | onions |
Mix yogurt, cilantro, olive oil, garam masala, salt, and garlic in a 9x13 glass baking dish. Add chicken & marinate for a minimum of 2 hours and up to over night.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Slice onions and lay in the bottom of roasting pan. Set chicken pieces on top of onions and roast for 30-35 minutes or until cooked through.
