Alfredo Sauce

1/2 c. | butter |
3 oz. | cream cheese |
1 pint | heavy cream |
1 tsp. | garlic powder |
1/2 c. | parmesan cheese, grated |
salt | |
pepper |
Directions:
- melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat
- mix in the cream cheese and then stir in the cream and garlic powder
- increase the heat and bring to a boil then decrease the heat and simmer mixture, stirring often
- if the sauce needs to be thicker you can sprinkle flour in 1 tsp. at a time
- stir in the parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste
