Veg- Tomato curry

3 | tomatoes |
1/2 tsp | mustard seeds |
1/2 tsp | cumin |
1 | onion |
1 | green chilli |
1/2 tsp | turmeric powder |
1 tsp | chilli powder |
Salt | |
1 sprig | curry, coriander leave, crushed |
Method | |
Chop | onions, tomatoes and green chillies separately and keep them aside. |
Heat oil in a vessel.
Add mustard seeds when oil is hot.
Add cumin seeds when the mustard seeds start to splutter.
Add chopped onions, curry leaves and green chillies. Fry till the onions turn light brown.
Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric, red chili powder,and salt. Mix for two minutes.
Cover and cook till the tomatoes become soft.
Add a little water if required
Garnish with coriander leaves.
