    1/2 tbsp (7 mL)  olive oil
    1 ¼ lb (625 g)  lean ground beef
    1 cup (250 mL)  each, diced carrots and celery
    1/2 cup (125 mL)  diced onions
    1 tsp (5 mL)  chopped garlic
    1 tsp (5 mL)  coarsely ground black pepper
    1 tbsp (15 mL)  finely chopped fresh parsley
2 cups (500 mL) V8 V-Plus® High Fibre Vegetable Cocktail 1 cup (250 mL) CAMPBELL'S® Ready to Use 25% Less Salt Beef Broth
    1/2 can (156 mL size)  tomato paste
    1 tsp (5 mL)  salt
    6 portions  hot cooked linguine pasta
      Chopped fresh herbs for garnish

Directions
1. Cook beef in heated oil in large skillet until golden brown. Add carrot, celery and onion and continue to cook for 5 minutes.
2. Stir in garlic, pepper, parsley, V8 V-Plus®, broth, tomato paste and salt.
3. Heat to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Serve immediately over pasta. Sprinkle with chopped fresh herbs, if desired.
