Tuna-cheese Braid

2 cans (6 1/2 ozs each) | tuna, drained |
3/4 cup | chopped celery |
1/4 cup | sliced green onions |
2 tbsps | pickle relish, drained |
1/2 cup | mayo |
salad dressing, alternative | |
2 cups | bisquik baking mix |
1/2 cup | white wine |
1 cup | shredded cheddar cheese, ( about 4 ozs) |
Cheese sauce (below)
Heat oven to 425 degrees. Lightly grease cookie sheet. Mix tuna, celery, onions & relish. Stir in mayo; reserve. Mix baking mix and wine until soft dough forms. Turn dough onto floured cloth-covered board. Knead lightly 20 times. Roll dough into rectangle, 14x11 inches: place on cookie sheets. Spoon tuna mixture lengthwise down center of rectangle; sprinkle with cheese. Make cuts 2 1/2 inches long, at 1 inch intervals on 14 inch sides of rectangle. Fold strips over filling. Bake until light brown, 15-20 mins. Garnish with cherry tomato halves & parsley if desired. Serve with cheese sauce.

Cheese sauce: heat 1 can (11ozs) condensed cheddar cheese soup & 1/4 cup milk over medium heat, stirring occasionally until hot.
