1/2 lb | spaghettini |
noodles, alternative | |
1/4 cup | butter |
margarine, alternative | |
1 1/2 cups | heavy cream or half & half |
1/2 tsp | salt |
1/2 tsp | nutmeg |
3/4 cup | grated Parmesan cheese |
1 tsp | coarse pepper |
Bring 6 quarts of water to a boil in a large sauce pan with two tbsps of salt; add spaghettini & cook 6-8 mins until barely tender. Meanwhile, melt butter in sauce-pan; add cream & heat. Then add salt, nutmeg, Parmesan & pepper. Add cream mixture to well-drained spaghettini & toss well. Serve steaming hot.
