Pressed hazelnut cookies

1/2 lb | butter softened |
1 c | sugar |
2 | eggs |
1 t. | Vanilla |
2 c | sifted all purpose flour |
1 c | finely ground hazelnuts |
Preheat oven 350- in large bowl cream butter & sugar till light & fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time & add vanilla & beat until smooth. Sift flour into mixture 1/2 c at a time beating until after each addition. Beat ground nuts. Pipe dough through pastry tube/ electric "shooter" gun onto ungreased sheets & space 1" apart bake about 10 min until firm & light brown around edges. Transfer immediately to cool. Can be stored several weeks (makes 5 dozen)
