1 cup | gold medal flour |
1/2 tsp | salt |
1 cup | milk |
2 | eggs |
Heat oven to 425 degrees. Measure flour by dip - level-pour method. Beat ingredients together with rotary beater just until smooth. Overbeating will reduce volume. Pour into well-greased deep muffin cups (3/4 full) or oven-glass cups (1/2 full). Bake 40-45 minutes until golden brown. If not baked long enough, they will collapse. Serve at once. Makes 5-9 popovers.
