Punkie Staley pretzel salad

| 1 stick | butter |
| 1/3 C | sugar |
| 1 C | crushed pretzels |
| 8 Oz | cream cheese |
| 1/2 C | sugar |
| 8 Oz. | Cool whip |
| 20 Oz | crushed pineapple,, (drained) |
Melt utter & 1/3 C sugar over low heat, then add crushed pretzels. Bake on cookie sheet in 400 degree. Oven for 7 minutes, then when cool break up & put in airtight container.
In bowl nix cream cheese & 1/2 C sugar then 8 Oz cool whip, then 20 Oz drained crushed pineapple. Mix & cool in refrigerator.
.add pretzel mixture right before serving.
