1 cup | quick cooking oats |
1/2 cup | all-purpose flour |
1 teaspoon | baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon | baking powder |
2 teaspoons | cinnamon |
1/4 cup | nonfat egg substitute |
1 cup | unsweetened applesauce |
2 teaspoons | vanilla extract |
1/3 cup | brown sugar |
2 Granny Smith or Gala apples, peeled and diced Directions: Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly spray an 8" square pan with vegetable oil cooking spray. In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients. In another bowl, combine egg substitute, applesauce, vanilla, and brown sugar. Add wet ingredients and apples to dry ingredients. Mix until ingredients are moistened. Spread batter in pan and bake until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, about 30 minutes. Cool and cut into 12 squares. Serve at room temperature. Store leftovers covered in refrigerator. Serves 12. Each 1 square serving: 98 calories, 1g fat, 0g saturated fat, 0g trans fat, 0mg cholesterol, 66mg sodium, 22g carbohydrate, 2g fiber, 11g sugars, 2g protein. Allergens: | |
