Who says Lasagna has to be baked in the oven? With Hamburger Helper*, all you'll need is one pan! Simply toss all your ingredients together and in just under thirty minutes, you'll have a mouth-watering supper that your whole family will enjoy PREP TIME: 15 MINS | TOTAL TIME: 25 MINS Ingredients: | |
1 lb (500 g) | lean ground beef |
1 each, small green pepper and onion, chopped | |
1 can (284 mL) | mushroom pieces and stems, drained |
1 pkg (193 g) Hamburger Helper* Four Cheese Lasagna | |
2 1/2 cups (625 mL) | hot water |
1 cup (250 mL) | milk |
1 medium | tomato, chopped |
1/4 cup (50 mL) | Milk |
Method:
Brown beef in large frying pan over medium high heat; drain.
Stir in green pepper, onion, mushrooms, sauce mix, hot water and milk. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.
Stir in uncooked pasta. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat; stir in tomato.
Stir together topping mix and 1/4 cup (50 mL) milk about 30 seconds or until almost smooth. Stir beef mixture; pour topping mixture evenly over beef mixture. Let stand uncovered 5 minutes (sauce will thicken as it stands).
