Put soup meat in kettle of water, heat slowly and skim until clear. Add cut up carrots, beans, celery, kohlrabi, corn, cabbage and 4 or 5 tomatoes(or use canned diced tomatoes). Add parsley, peas, pork and beans, 2 or 3 allspice, pepper, and 2 teaspoons salt. Cook on low heat for a couple of hours. One hour before done add 1/4 cup of rice and cut up potatoes last. Season to taste.

DUMPLINGS-----1 BATCH

In a bowl mix 2 eggs, 1/4 cup water, 1 teaspoon salt and 1 cup flour. Scrape out of bowl with a teaspoon into the soup or into boiling water.
