Baked Hot Chocolate

1/3 cup | sugar |
10 oz | semi-sweet chocolate, (baking squares) |
1 stick | butter |
6 | egg whites |
1/3 cup | sugar |
1/2 oz | white chocolate, (baking squares) per serving |
1 mix together yolks and 1/3 c. sugar with mixer for 2-3 min. 2 melt together chocolate and butter in double boiler 3 smooth chocolate and butter mixture with whip 4 stir in yolk/sugar mixture 5 whip whites to stiff peaks (add 1/3 c. sugar during the whipping) 6 fold in whites to chocolate/butter/yolk/sugar mixture 7 put into buttered & sugared coffee mugs about 2/3 full 8 put ½ oz white chocolate square chunk in middle of each mug 9 bake at 350 degrees 15-20 minutes (puffed and beginning to crack) |
