Raspberry sorbet

1/4 c | sugar |
12 oz | frozen or 3 c fresh raspberries, frozen |
Stir water and sugar until sugar dissolves.
Pulse raspberries in a food processor until coarsely chopped. While machine is running pour in sugar water; pulse until smooth. Put in an airtight container and freeze until firm,about 30 minutes. Serve with whipped cream if desired.
