Avocado Cream Sauce

2 tbsp | butter |
2 tbsp | flour |
2 cups | chicken broth |
3/4 cup | sour cream |
1/2 tsp | cumin |
1/2 tsp | salt |
1/2 tsp | garlic powder |
1/4 tsp | pepper |
2 | avocados |
1/2 cup | chopped cilantro |
Juice of 1 | lime |
Melt butter in skillet over medium heat. Add flour, whisking until golden and bubbly, about 2-3 mins. Slowly whisk in broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 5 mins.
Stir in sour cream, cumin, salt, garlic powder and pepper. Whisk if necessary to remove lumps.
Remove from heat. Transfer mixture to food processor. Add avocados, cilantro and lime juice. Pulse until smooth and well blended. Season with additional salt and pepper if necessary.
