JPS big daddy biscuits

2 cups | all purpose flour |
1 tbs | white sugar |
1 tbs | baking powder |
1/3 cup | shortening |
1 tsp | salt |
1 cup | milk |
Preheat oven to 425 degrease. In large bowl whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, sugar. Cut in the shorting until the mix looks like coarse meal, gradually stir in milk until dough pulls away from sides of the bowl. Put onto a floured surface and knead 15-20 times. Pat or roll out to 1 inch thick. Cut biscuits with a large cutter or juice glass dipped into flour. Repeat till dough is gone. Brush off extra flour place biscuits on ungreased baking sheet.
