EGGNOG

6 | Eggs |
1 c | sugar-I use superfine |
1 qt | light cream |
1 c | rum- we mix dark rum and bourbon to taste |
1/2 tsp | salt |
In electric mixer---
Beat eggs until very light and foamy
Add sugar and salt
Beat until very thick and lemon in color
Stir in cream, rum and bourbon
Chill 3 hours
Sprinkle with freshly grated nutmeg
For extra fun and presentation can wet the edge of the glasses and dip into nutmeg, cinnamon and sugar mixture
