6 cups | rolled oats or pettijohns |
1 cup | coconut |
1 cup | grape nuts or wheat germ |
3/4 cups | nuts-pecans, almonds, cashews |
1/2 cup | seeds |
1/4 cup | brown sugar |
1/2 cup | cooking oil |
1/2 cup | honey |
1/3 cup | water |
1&1/2 teaspoon salt 1&1/2 tsp vanilla | |
1 cup | raisins |
Combine first five ingredients. Combine all else except raisins. Pour over cereal mixture. Mix to coat well. Spread on greased baking sheets. Bake in 300-350 degree oven for 30 minutes stirring frequently to cool. Add raisins. Store in airtight container.
