Ready in about 1¾ hrs.
    1 (32 ounce) package  frozen country-style hash-brown potatoes
(Sandy thawed first & didn't use it all)
    2-3 cups  shredded Cheddar cheese, consider Colby Jack
    2 cups  sour cream,, (1 pt)
    1 can  Cream of Mushroom Soup
    1 can  Cream of Chicken soup
    1/4 - 1/2 cup  finely chopped onion,, (Sandy used a red one)
      Salt
      pepper to taste

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
1. Combine all ingredients in large bowl.
2. Pour into greased 13x9x2 baking dish.
3. Cover & bake for 1 1/2 hour.
(Sandy baked for an 50-60 mins, probably since it was thawed out.)
4. Uncover and place under broiler for 2 to 3 minutes to brown top.
