Apricot Cake

| 2 cups | water |
| 1 1/2 cups | dried apricots, (chopped) |
| 1/4 cup | sugar |
| 1/4 cup | light raisins, (optional) |
| Cream together: | |
| 1 cup | butter |
| 1 1/2 cups | sugar |
| 1 8 oz pkg | cream cheese |
| 4 | eggs |
Stir in cooled fruit mixture add 2 1/4 cups flour and 1 1/2 tsp baking powder.
Pour into a greased and floured baking pan. Bake at 250 degrees for 2 hours
