Light Fruit Cake

1/2 lb | butter |
1 1/2 cup | white sugar |
3 cups | flour |
1 cup | milk |
1/4 tsp | salt |
5 | eggs |
1/2 lb | Almonds |
1/2 lb | mix fruit |
1/2 | Cherries, (Red and Green) |
1/2 lb | raisins |
1/2 lb | currants |
1 tsp | lemon flavouring |
1 tsp | vanilla flavouring |
1 tsp | baking powder |
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Flour all fruit. Add remaining ingredients. Bake at 250 degrees for 2 hours.
