    2 T  olive oil
    3 medium  potatoes
    2 medium  onions
    4-6 cloves  garlic
    2  bay leaves
    1 pound  kale
    1 can  chick peas
    1 can  diced tomatoes
    1 pound  ground chourico
    1 1/2 quarts  chicken broth
    1 quart  water

Heat oil in a deep pot over medium heat. Add potatoes and onions, cover and cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add garlic, bay leaves and kale. Cover and wilt greens 2 minutes.
Add beans, tomatoes, chourico, broth and water and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and cook until potatoes are tender
