Oatmeal Caramel Bars

1.5 cups | oatmeal |
1.5 cups | brown sugar |
1.5 cups | flour |
2 sticks | butter at room temp |
1 bag (14 oz) | Kraft caramels |
1/2 cup | milk |
2/3 t | baking soda |
1/3 t | salt |
2 cups | choc chips |
Combine oatmeal, flour, salt, and baking soda together with a wire whisk. Set aside. Preheat oven to 350. Cream together butter and brown sugar until smooth. Add dry ingredients and mix. Pat down half of mixture into greased 9x13 pan. Bake for 10 min. While mixture is baking, place caramels and milk in saucepan over low heat until smooth. Pull mixture out of oven and sprinkle chocolate chips all over the top. Then pour caramel sauce over chocolate chips and soreD. Sprinkle remaining dry mixture over top of caramel. Bake an additional 15 min at 350. Refrigerate and enjoy!
