Barb's Beef Stew

Cut up and set aside in large bowl of water: | |
Onions | |
Carrots | |
Celery | |
Potatoes | |
Garlic | |
String Beans | |
1/2 | Green Pepper |
1/2 | Red Pepper |
In pot: Sauté 2 onions in oil Add meat dredged in flour | |
3 | Garlic Cloves |
Salt | |
pepper | |
1 tablespoon | chicken soup mix |
1-2 cups | water, (enough to cover meat) |
Let cook until meat is tender; medium heat with lid
Add 2 tablespoons of ketchup, a few drops of soy sauce. Cook 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Add veggies and some of the water to the pot. Simmer for about 30 minutes.
