3 26.5 oz cans | tomato sauce |
2-3 cups | chopped onions, divided |
4-5 cloves | chopped garlic |
4 stalks | celery chopped |
Parsley | |
Oregano | |
1 1/2 cups | Italian bread crumbs |
3 | eggs |
1 - 1 1/2 cups | sugar |
Meatballs: mix onions, 2 cloves garlic, 2 stalks celery. Mix with ground meat; add bread crumbs & eggs. Make meatballs & bake until firm.
Sauce: Sauté onions, 2 cloves garlic, 2 stalks celery, add tomato sauce, sugar, salt & pepper, parsley & oregano. Add meatballs, cook 2 hours.
