Chicken Marsala

1/4 c | flour |
1/2 tsp | salt |
1/2 tsp | oregano |
1/4 tsp | black pepper |
4 tbs | butter |
4 skinless boneless chicken breasts pounded thin | |
1 tbs | olive oil |
1 c | sliced mushrooms |
1/2 c | Marsala wine |
1/2 c | chicken broth |
2 tbs | lemon juice |
Pound chicken to a thin thickness. In a dish mix flour, salt, oregano and pepper. Coat chicken in flour mixture. Shake off excess flour. In a large skillet melt butter in oil. Place chicken in pan and brown on both sides. add mushrooms. Add Marsala wine, chicken broth and lemon juice. Cover skillet and simmer for 20 mins.
