Beef stew

2 lbs | beef, cut inti 1inch cubes |
1/2 cup | flour |
1/2 tsp | salt |
1/2 tsp | pepper |
1 clove | garlic, minced |
1 | bay leaf |
1 tsp | paprika |
1 tsp | worcestershire sauce |
1 | onion, chopped |
1 1/2 cups | beef broth |
3 | potatoes, diced |
4 | carrots, sliced |
1 stalk | celery, chopped |
Place meat in crock pot. In a bowl mix flour, salt, & pepper; pour over meat & stir to coat meat. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cook on low 10 to 12 hours. (high 4 to 6). Stir in flour 1 tsp @ a time to thicken the last few hours of cooking if desired.
