1 cup | all-purpose flour |
2 teaspoons | baking powder |
1 teaspoon | sugar |
1/4 teaspoon | salt |
1 cup | milk |
1/4 cup | butter, melted |
1 | egg, separated |
1. Heat the waffle iron
2. Mix flour, baking powder, sugar and salt in a bowl. Stir in milk, butter and egg yolk until blended.
3. Beat egg white in a separate bowl on high speed until stiff peaks form; fold mixture into egg white.
4. Pour batter onto hot waffle iron. Bake until steaming stops. Remove waffle.
