Steamer clams

Butter clams ----------------- | |
1 cube | butter |
Small | Red onion chopped |
4-5 cloves | garlic chopped |
1-2 C | White wine, (dry Chardonnay) |
2 lb | steamer clams |
Fresh parsley |
Sauté butter in pan, add garlic and heat over med, add onions when garlic is almost done and sprinkle red pepper fakes in if desired. Add Chardonnay and simmer on low uncovered for about 10 mins. Throw in rinsed shelled clams and cover pan about 3-5 mins until shells have opened then sprinkle with parsley.
Serve with a focaccia or favorite bread to dip into the clam juice.
