1 dozen eggs | |
7 cups | flour |
3 cups | sugar |
1 lb. | butter melted |
8 tsp | baking powder |
3 TBS | anise or vanilla |
2 TBS | anise seed |
Beat eggs gradually add sugar. Beat until smooth. Add cooled melted butter, anise oil & anise seed. Add flour & baking powder to egg mixture. Dough will be sticky enough to be dropped by spoon. This has been doubled. Makes 120 Store in air tight container. If you want make chocolate pizzelles add 1/2 cup baking cocoa, 1/2 cup sugar | |
1/2 tsp | baking powder. Add ingredients to recipe to pizzelles. |
