German macaroni soup

2 tbsp | butter |
1 | onion diced |
1 | carrot diced |
2 stalks | celery diced |
2 tbsp | flour |
1 tsp | caraway seed |
5 cups | beef broth |
2 cups | cooked macaroni |
Heat butter in large saucepan. Add vegetables and sauté until tender. Sprinkle with flour and caraway. Cook until vegetables and flour turn brown.
Add broth and simmer until thick. Stir in macaroni and simmer for 5 min. Serve hot
