Butter Biscuits

| 250 gms | flour |
| 250 gms | sugar |
| 1 | egg |
| 259 gms | margarine |
| butter | |
| 1/2 tsp | baking powder |
| 5 ml | vanilla essence |
Cream margarine and sugar together.
Beat in egg.
Sift flour and baking powder and beat into dough.
Add vanilla essence and mix.
Roll teaspoon sized balls and lay out on a baking tray.
Squash each biscuit down with a fork.
Add cherries/pecan nuts/ sprinkles etc to decorate.
Bake at 180' for 10-15 minutes.
