Lime Poppy seed cake

1/2 cup | sugar |
1/4 cup | lime marmalade |
1/2 cup | yoghurt |
1 1/2 cup | self raising flour |
1/2 cup | pineapple juice |
2-3 Tbsp | poppy seeds |
Syrup | |
1/2 cup | pineapple juice |
1/2 cup | sugar |
Method
Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius and line a round cake tin.
Cream butter sugar until light add the Marmalade and yoghurt. Fold in sifted flour alternatively with the pineapple juice and lastly stir through the poppy seeds and bake for 40 mins or until a skewer comes out clean.
In a small saucepan place the syrup ingredients and bring to a boil
When cake comes out of the oven pour hot syrup over hot cake while still in the tin remove from tin when cool.
